Today is Pearlyn's birthday and she busted her sweet seventeen by falling sick.
May she get well soon and may God be with her always!!
"Have i not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." ~Josh 1:9
God hit me again, when i read the email florence sent!!
Things are really brightening up since Monday. For once AJC didnt seem so sucky compared to the past few weeks. It may still be dry, but at least i'm not sad and depressed like last week. I don't know, but i know that for once, trusting and having faith in the Lord, not running away from Him feels really good.
Just want to blog out my wonderful experience today-

I came home early today, early enough to say:
"Hey, i can attend mass today!!".
So i went for mass.
Today mass we celebrate the conversion of St Paul. When i first heard about it, i thought:

"Of all days, why is the conversion of St Paul held today?
Of all days, why must it be on the day which i come?"
Of all days, why must it be on the day which i come?"
During the gospel accalmation, these particular phrase hit me..
"I chose you from the world, to go out and to bear fruits.
Fruits that will last says the Lord".
Fruits that will last says the Lord".
After reading this, i just felt a tingling feeling all over me, and when that happened, i just know that God is really here, that he wants to tell me something from this mass.
Like few weeks ago, i felt really confused. I didnt know what to do, all i know was that i had been running way from him, from his call. I knew roughly what he wanted to tell me, but i just didnt want to face it. Like what people told me when i kept saying "Dont know":

It was after some questions which my civics teacher asked us to answer which helped me really acknowledge what God want me to do.
As i was flipping through my missal, i saw the phrash which was given to me during Mentos on wednesday:
As i was flipping through my missal, i saw the phrash which was given to me during Mentos on wednesday:
"Be still and know i am here"
and after receiving the Holy communion, i chanced upon this phrash
"Take roots downwards, bear fruits upwards"
I dont know why, but i am really truely touched by the Lord till my eyes came out some tears.
For weeks i felt like crying, and today, i finally teared.
It is really amazing to know that God is always here for us all the time, even if we are undergoing a period of dryness where we feel that he is not there for us which he is actually there always. Sometimes, its just take a whole lot of courage to take that one step of faith to reach out to him and he will take the other 99 steps to reach us.
Jusr knowing that He is here, is enough to satisfy me..
